The designers at Parker desired to create a both exceptional and iconic product that encouraged pen fanatics to make a trip down memory lane. In 1920, the first Duofolds were designed in three characteristic colors, namely Black, Big Red and Lapis Lazuli. `

Therefore, the 100th anniversary pens star these precise colors. Back in 1920, Parker used a specific technique to ensure the brightest pigmentation and longterm use. It entails a three layer resin application. Even a hundred years later, Parker still applied this very technique to honor its anniversary. 

The nibs contain a new design to commemorate 100 years of success. They feature a sturdy 18kt gold nib. Additionally, the pen can be used with either a converter or a cartridge.

Only 100 pieces are available worldwide, making these pens a truly special edition to your fountain pen collection.

As the holder of two Royal Warrants for recognition of service to the Royal Household, Parker proudly honours Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee with a special edition of two of our most prestigious product lines, Duofold and Sonnet.

The Parker Duofold Queen's Platinum Jubilee is fashioned from palladium coated 925 solid sliver and the cap and barrel design are intricately engraved to create a woven-like texture, giving a distinctly regal appearance. The signature Duofold nib of 18k two tone solid gold and rhodium plating is emblazoned with a stamping of the St Edward’s Crown, unique to this limited edition.

To mark the occasion, the cap jewel features a specially designed commemorative 70th Jubilee stamping incorporating the Queen’s Cypher. Additionally, all trims are plated in 23k gold.

The numbered Limited Edition is presented in a premium wooden gift box with a Certificate of Authenticity and the special edition is presented in a prestige gift box. Only 70 pieces are available worldwide, and we are honored to have one.
